Bear Butt, a company founded in the fall of 2015 by Michael Whiteley, a broke newlywed with a dream to change the world, began its journey. As a college dropout with a baby on the way, Whiteley knew it was time to hustle. The company's initial success was rapid, with sales skyrocketing from about 50 Hammocks a day to over 300 Hammocks a day, leading to frequent inventory depletion. Despite the challenges, the Bear Butt team persevered, reordering and restocking as demand continued to surge.

In January 2017, the team celebrated a major milestone by moving into a 10x20 ft. office. A few months later, in August 2017, they packed up and relocated to a brand-new 8000 sq ft warehouse. Today, Bear Butt has surpassed $5.4 million in sales, and this is just the beginning.
